In 2016, Melissa Tafila won the prize in Botswana with her Conexus business, an online platform that connects relevant education stakeholders such as teachers, tutors, parents, students and regulatory bodies. For students and educators the platform acts as a content aggregator whereby relevant and quality learning material is sourced from qualified educators and matched to students in need of such material, based on factors such as weakness areas, study plan progression and areas of interest. The platform enables easy publication of content (Videos, Apps, Lesson plans, books) and relieves educators of the burden of finding a market for their products. Quality learning material will trickle down to all students despite their family’s financial background.

Manzer Partazer, CityTaps and eFret.tn win the Orange Social Venture Prize 2017 Orange announced on Wednesday 8 November the winners if the final stage of its social entrepreneurship competition.
