July 4: end of the national voting phase

The end of the national voting phase of the Orange Social Venture Prize Africa and Middle East is postponed to July 4 (two days), at 12AM GMT.

In order to identify potential winners, we combine a rigorous analysis of the business plans provided by the candidates with the choices of the community as expressed through our online voting system. Our goal is to provide the national judges of the contest with quality applications for them to support. These votes are most useful when the competition is healthy and the rule remains 1 person = 1 daily vote for a given project. When faced with attempts to circumvent our technical obstacles to unfair voting, we endeavour to right the rankings after careful reviews of the technical logs. Further audits will allow us to provide a final ranking two days after the end of the voting phase, on July 6.
